Our Story
Our Mission
The International Art Project Foundation (IAP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded on a simple but powerful belief: that art, at its best, has always been a tool for change.
From Picasso's Guernica to the murals of the civil rights movement, artists have always responded to the world's most urgent crises. IAP formalizes this tradition — creating a direct, transparent pipeline between the art world and humanitarian action.
We partner with world-class artists who donate works to our mission. When collectors purchase these works, 100% of net proceeds fund verified, executed humanitarian projects on the ground. No overhead. No bureaucracy. Just art doing what it's always done best.

How It Works
01
We identify and partner with world-class artists who share our belief that art should serve a larger purpose. Artists donate original works or limited editions to IAP's mission.
02
Works are listed in the IAP collection and made available to collectors worldwide. Every piece comes with full documentation of the artist's story and the project it will fund.
03
100% of net proceeds are directed to vetted humanitarian projects. We work with established NGO partners to execute projects and document the real-world outcomes.
Transparency
IAP believes in complete transparency. In some cases, we explore agreements where if collectors discover an artist through IAP and later purchase directly from them, IAP receives a small referral percentage.
This referral contribution — typically 5–10% of the direct sale — flows back to IAP's humanitarian fund, extending the impact of the original connection. This is always disclosed clearly on the artist's profile page.
We believe this model creates a virtuous cycle: artists gain new collectors, collectors discover extraordinary talent, and humanitarian projects receive sustained funding. Everyone wins — especially the communities we serve.

Our Impact
In 2024, IAP's first major project — the Maradi Water Tower in Niger, West Africa — demonstrated exactly what's possible when art meets purpose. One commissioned work funded an entire water tower serving 3,000 people.
