In 2024, IAP commissioned a series of original works from a participating artist. The proceeds funded the construction of a water tower in Maradi, Niger — providing clean, reliable water access to a community of over 3,000 people for the first time.
Before this project, women and children in the community walked up to 3 hours daily to collect water from contaminated sources. Waterborne diseases accounted for 70% of local health clinic visits. Within months of the tower's completion, those numbers dropped dramatically.
